Low tuition costs put a Christian education within reach of anyone called to serve. SDC provides a valuable education for less than many other private institutions.
SDC has earned a reputation for preparing exceptional leaders. Business leaders, pastors and other professionals have achieved success after SDC.
The SDC academic experience is delivered from a biblical worldview. Christ is infused into every curriculum and classroom experience.
An experienced faculty gives personal attention to each student so they can reach their full potential. A caring learning environment is ideal for spiritual growth.
The Department of Education at San Diego Christian College is dedicated to developing qualified Christian educators who are prepared to inspire students. As such, San Diego Christian offers a combined Teaching Credential and Master of Arts in Teaching program that allows students to earn their MAT in only one year after earning their California Teaching Credential.
SDC’s Teaching Credential program prepares students for the California State Single and Multiple Subject Preliminary Teaching Credentials and Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) Teaching Certification. The Master of Arts in Teaching emphasizes research, reflection, and practical application within an educational setting. This program will help to cultivate and nurture educators who seek to effectively communicate in the classroom.
San Diego Christian College believes in aiding students in becoming effective educators. By offering the Teaching Credential in conjunction with the Master’s program, SDC provides students with the opportunity to earn their degree in a way that is flexible, affordable, and convenient.
