Why San Diego Christian College?

Affordable

Low tuition costs put a Christian education within reach of anyone called to serve. SDC provides a valuable education for less than many other private institutions.

Distinguished

SDC has earned a reputation for preparing exceptional leaders. Business leaders, pastors and other professionals have achieved success after SDC.

Christ-focused

The SDC academic experience is delivered from a biblical worldview. Christ is infused into every curriculum and classroom experience.

Effective

An experienced faculty gives personal attention to each student so they can reach their full potential. A caring learning environment is ideal for spiritual growth.

Military and Veteran Students

San Diego Christian College helps Active Military and Veterans pursue their degree by offering tuition assistance and VA benefits to qualifying students. SDC is grateful for those who were enlisted in the armed services and is a participating Yellow Ribbon Program school. If you are interested in these benefits, please visit http://www.benefits.va.gov/gibill/ to see if you qualify. If so, complete the required forms to activate your benefit.

Active Duty Military Tuition Assistance

San Diego Christian College values the members of our military who are currently serving the country admirably. In order to help these military personnel, SDC offers tuition assistance to active duty military. Tuition assistance will lower the cost per credit to $250 for active duty military. Eligibility requirements are as follows:

  • Are currently serving in the military (all branches)
  • Need to have TA approved and on file (voucher or within GAE) prior to the course start date
  • Have completed a FAFSA

Note: Tuition assistance will not cover books or course materials, cannot be applied to the same course twice, and has a limit of $4,500 per fiscal year. Students can use the GI Bill after tuition assistance is exhausted. The Yellow Ribbon program does not apply to active duty military.

Yellow Ribbon Program

San Diego Christian has participated in the Yellow Ribbon Program since 2010. This program allows institutions to partner with the VA to fund tuition expenses for qualified students. Eligibility requirements are as follows:

  • Student has served an aggregate period of active duty after September 10, 2001 of at least 36 months
  • Student was honorably discharged from active duty for service connected disability and you served 30 continuous days after September 10, 2001.
  • Student is a dependent eligible for Transfer of Entitlement under the Post-9/11 GI Bill based on veteran’s service under the criteria listed above.
  • Note: This information will be listed on your certificate of eligibility letter that the Veteran Affairs Office sends you.

SDC will abide by the federal regulations and report tuition and fees less any SDC institutional discounts and/or federal (non-title IV) and state discounts. The maximum contribution made by SDC’s Yellow Ribbon Institutional Match is $8,000 per academic year.
